Sandra Maxheimer became a soloist at the Oper Leipzig in the season 2015/16 singing roles including Rosina ("Il barbiere di Siviglia"), Hänsel ("Hänsel und Gretel"), Suzuki ("Madama Butterfly"), Wellgunde ("Rheingold/ Götterdämmerung),  

Siegrune ("Die Walküre), 2.Knappe / Blumenmädchen 

( "Parsifal"),  2. Lady (“Die Zauberflöte”),  Cherubino ("Le nozze di Figaro"), 2.Sopran (GrosseMesse/Magnificat), Page ("Salome"),  

3.Magd ("Elektra"), 2.Waldelfe ("Rusalka"),

Giannetta ("L´Elisir d´amore " directed by Rolando Villazón), 

Mercedes ("Carmen") or Fenena (“Nabucco”).

 

She studied singing at the Music Conservatory in Lübeck and attended masterclasses with Anna Tomowa-Sintow, Irwin Gage, Matthias Goerne, Grace Bumbry and Brigitte Fassbaender. 

She was awarded a scholarship by the Richard Wagner Association in Halle.

 

Sandra Maxheimer was engaged during her studies at the Theater Lübeck,

afterwards at the Landesbühnen Sachsen and at the Oper Halle, singing Olga (Eugene Onegin), Orlofsky (Die Fledermaus), Maddalena (Rigoletto), Floßhilde (Das Rheingold and Götterdämmerung), Rossweisse and Grimgerde

(Die Walküre), Orsini (Lucrezia Borgia), Theatergarderobiere and Gymnasiast (Lulu), Nancy (Martha) and Pauline (Pique Dame),

Meroe (Penthesilea) , at the Handelfestival Bradamante ("Alcina") / conductor: Bernhard Forck) or Matilda ("Ottone, re di Germania") / conductor: Marcus Creed ).

 

Her concert Repertoire includes among others "Requiem" (Verdi), "Elias"

(Mendelssohn Bartholdy), " Grosse Messe" (Mozart), "Weihnachtsoratorium" ( Bach) or "Matthäuspassion" (Bach) .

 

Sandra Maxheimer has appeared as a guest soloist in Munich at the Bayerische Staatsoper, in Berlin at the Komische Oper, at the Staatstheater Nürnberg, the Anhaltische Theater Dessau, the Staatsoperette Dresden, the Oper Kiel, Teatro

Comunale in Bolzano, the Theater Lübeck ( Ring production of Anthony Pilavachi , availabe on DVD, awarded the Echo Klassik 2012 ) and at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival.

 

Sandra Maxheimer presented also 2 years the TV Show "Musica" at MDR um 11.
