Sandra Maxheimer became a soloist at the Leipzig Opera in the season 2015/16 singing roles including Wellgunde (Götterdämmerung), Siegrune (Die Walküre), Fenena (Nabucco), Hänsel (Hänsel und Gretel) , 2nd. Knappe and Blumenmädchen (Parsifal), Friedensbote (Rienzi) and 2nd. Lady (Die Zauberflöte).
In the season 2016/17 she will sing Suzuki (Madama Butterfly), Ninon de l’Enclos/A Shepherd (Cinq Mars), 2nd. Soprano (Grosse Messe), the Page (Salome) and Wellgunde (Das Rheingold).
In the season 2017/18 are following 2.Waldelfe (Rusalka), eine Kunstgewerblerin (Lulu) and Cherubino ( Le nozze di Figaro).
2018/19 will follow Mercedes (Carmen), 3.Magd (Elektra), Kathinka (Verkaufte Braut), Zwerg Schnitzerle (Schneewittchen) and 2.Sopran (Magnificat, J.S.Bach).
She studied singing at the Music Conservatory in Lübeck and attended masterclasses with Anna Tomowa-Sintow, Irwin Gage, Matthias Goerne, Grace Bumbry and Brigitte Fassbaender. She was awarded a scholarship by the Richard Wagner Association in Halle.
She was engaged at the Lübeck Theatre (2007-9), the Saxony State Theatre (2009-10) and at the Halle Opera (2010-15), singing Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro), Olga (Eugene Onegin), Orlofsky (Die Fledermaus), Maddalena (Rigoletto), Floßhilde (Das Rheingold and Götterdämmerung), Rossweisse and Grimgerde (Die Walküre), Orsini (Lucrezia Borgia), Theatergarderobiere and Gymnasiast (Lulu), Nancy (Martha) and Pauline (Pique Dame).
She appears frequently on the concert platform (recently in Sao Paolo, Rio de Janeiro and Ljubljana) and has appeared as a guest soloist in Munich at the Bavarian State Opera, in Berlin at the Komische Oper, at the State Theatre Nuremberg, the Teatro Comunale in Bolzano and at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival.
