Sandra Maxheimer became a soloist at the Leipzig Opera in the season 2015/16 singing roles including Wellgunde (Götterdämmerung),  Siegrune (Die Walküre), Fenena (Nabucco), Hänsel (Hänsel und Gretel) , 2nd. Knappe and Blumenmädchen (Parsifal), Friedensbote (Rienzi) , 2nd. Lady (Die Zauberflöte), Suzuki (Madama Butterfly), Ninon de l’Enclos/A Shepherd (Cinq Mars)2nd. Soprano (Grosse Messe), the Page (Salome), Wellgunde (DasRheingold),  2.Waldelfe (Rusalka), eine Kunstgewerblerin (Lulu) and Cherubino ( Le nozze di Figaro).


In the season 2018/19 roles including Mercedes (Carmen), 

3.Magd (Elektra), Kathinka (Verkaufte Braut), Zwerg Schnitzerle (Schneewittchen) and 2.Soprano (Magnificat, J.S.Bach). 


In the season 19/20 are following Rosina (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Giannetta (L´ elisir d´  amore directed by Rolando Villazón) and 2.Dame in a new production of "Die Zauberflöte".


She studied singing at the Music Conservatory in Lübeck and attended masterclasses with Anna Tomowa-Sintow, Irwin Gage, Matthias Goerne, Grace Bumbry and Brigitte Fassbaender. 

She was awarded a scholarship by the Richard Wagner Association in Halle.


Sandra Maxheimer was engaged at the Lübeck Theatre (2007-9), the Saxony State Theatre (2009-10) and at the Halle Opera (2010-15), singing Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro), Olga (Eugene Onegin), Orlofsky (Die Fledermaus), Maddalena (Rigoletto), Floßhilde (Das Rheingold and Götterdämmerung), Rossweisse and Grimgerde (Die Walküre), Orsini (Lucrezia Borgia), Theatergarderobiere and Gymnasiast (Lulu), Nancy (Martha) and Pauline (Pique Dame).


She appears frequently on the concert platform (recently in Sao Paolo, Rio de Janeiro and Ljubljana) and has appeared as a guest soloist in Munich at the Bavarian State Opera, in Berlin at the Komische Oper, at the State Theatre Nuremberg, the Teatro Comunale in Bolzano and at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival.


Sandra Maxheimer presented also 2 years the TV Show "Musica" at MDR um 11.
