Sandra Maxheimer studied singing at the Music Conservatory in Lübeck and attended masterclasses with Anna Tomowa-Sintow, Irwin Gage, Matthias Goerne, Grace Bumbry and Brigitte Fassbaender. 

She was awarded a scholarship by the Richard Wagner Association in Halle.

 

Sandra Maxheimer was engaged at the Ensembles of Theater Lübeck, of Landesbühnen Sachsen, of the Oper Halle and Oper Leipzig, singing roles as Rosina ("Il barbiere di Siviglia"), Angelina ( "La Cenerentola"),Orsini ("Lucrezia Borgia"),  Hänsel ("Hänsel und Gretel"),  Suzuki ("Madama Butterfly""), Wellgunde ("Rheingold/ Götterdämmerung),  Siegrune ("Die Walküre), 2.Knappe / Blumenmädchen ( "Parsifal"),  2. Lady (“Die Zauberflöte”),  Cherubino ("Le nozze di Figaro"),  3.Magd ("Elektra"), 2.Waldelfe ("Rusalka"), Giannetta ("L´Elisir d´amore " directed by Rolando Villazón),  Mercédès ("Carmen") or Fenena (“Nabucco”).

 

She has appeared as a guest soloist at the Semperoper Dresden, Bayerische Staatsoper, at the Komische Oper, at the Staatstheater Nürnberg, the Anhaltische Theater Dessau, the Staatsoperette Dresden, the Oper Kiel, Teatro Comunale in Bolzano, the Theater Lübeck ( Ring production of Anthony Pilavachi , availabe on DVD, awarded the Echo Klassik 2012 ) and at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival.

 

Sandra Maxheimer presented also 2 years the TV Show "Musica" at MDR um 11.

 

She is a certified Mentalcoach for Musicians and artists.
